Two for two!
Act 2 is now up on Fifty Two Acts, that is two down, only fifty more to go 
For this weeks act I created and uploaded an animated icon, it is linked to my wordpress account rather than a specific journal, so it will also be my icon for this blog as well as the fifty two acts site. Tomorrow I am planning to upload larger versions of the images that I used to create the icon and some technical information about the process I used to create them.
A Meme is Born – 52 Something
Earlier this week I started my 1 year weekly art project 52 Acts, a few days later I saw that a friend was embarking on a very similar journey. This got me thinking about what a great format the 52 somethings style project really is, it is productive, scalable (you can aim large or small), ambitious yet achievable. And so I officially lay down the challenge. Think of 52 somethings that you would like to get done next year and share them with us on your blog – as is the usual meme thing cut and paste the italic text onto your blog and begin!

Choose something you would really like to do on a weekly basis and commit to sharing it with your friends or the world on your blog. There is no limit to what you can choose, it just needs to be something you are passionate about. 52 reviews, 52 drabbles, 52 photos, 52 environmentally friendly life changes, 52 short stories, 52 haiku, 52 tours of your town. 52 of anything you would really like to do for the next year. Happy new year everybody!
Yesterday I put up my first ‘act’ at 52 acts, it is a slideshow introduction to cyberfeminism. A nice gentle way for me to start the creative year, which is having a great creative effect on me – I am already excited about next weeks act, and seriously reflecting on this weeks. I have thoughts brewing on ‘the light and dark of cyberfeminism’, something I don’t think I touched on in my introductory essay.
